The following are books that I have read that have influenced my philosophy.
Rush Limbaugh: The Way Things Ought To Be. This was one of the first political books I ever read. It is a bit dated, since some of the issues are no longer as relevant as they once were, but a good read nonetheless.
Thomas Sowell: The Vision of the Anointed. Dr, Sowell is always one of the smartest people in the room and this book is a treatise on how liberals not only believe they are right, but that their points of view are more morally right and their opposition is not just wrong but evil.
Milton Friedman: Free to Choose. A must read for anyone who is interested in the principles of capitalism, this book is a must read.
Lawrence Wright: The Looming Tower: Al Qaeda and the Road to 9/11. A must read for anyone who is interested in the formation of Al Qaeda and radical Islamic Terrorism. It is not written by a conservative, but rather a NY Times reporter and is very good.
